THE CITY OF THE FUTURE? (VLPA) IN GENERAL, CITIES HAVE BEEN STUDIED FROM A WIDE RANGE OF PERSPECTIVES: SOCIOLOGY, ARCHITECTURE, GEOGRAPHY, URBAN PLANNING, POLITICAL ECONOMY, PUBLIC POLICY, AND PHILOSOPHY. IN THIS COURSE WE WILL DRAW ON THESE DISCIPLINES TO STUDY ECO-CITIES, THE FUTURE OF WORK, SECURITY, LOGISTICS, TECHNOLOGY, AND INFORMAL SETTLEMENTS.
