Faculty Mentors support the students who wish to facilitate a CHID Focus Group. Mentors are expected to:
- Help the student-facilitator design a reasonable syllabus for a 2-credit, CR/NC course, concentrating on reading load, assignments, and overall concept.
- Check in with the student-facilitator throughout the quarter to help troubleshoot any problems or concerns that may arise.
- Determine student-participants' final grades, in consultation with the student-facilitator, and submit these grades to the CHID Advisor.
