PARKS AND OTHER OUTDOOR RECREATION
SPACES IN SEATTLE FOR FIVE TO
SEVEN DAYS SPREAD BETWEEN
JUNE 20TH-AUGUST 18TH. YOU WILL
CHOOSE FROM A RANGE OF
INSTRUCTIONAL AND SUPPORT
ROLES ACROSS A VARIETY OF SUMMER
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES. DAYS AND
TIMES OF SERVICE-LEARNING IN THE
COMMUNITY WILL DEPEND ON THE
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES YOU CHOOSE
TO SUPPORT.

Analyzes disability representations in literature, film, and other cultural texts; social science approaches to disability marginalization and empowerment; intersectionality of disability with other markers of diversity and identity. Offered: jointly with DIS ST 332/LSJ 332; AWSpS.
