"ANIMAL ENGAGEMENTS: WRITING AND TALKING WITH NON-HUMAN ANIMALS" (NW & VLPA) WANT TO WRITE WITH ANIMALS? IN THIS COURSE WE WILL EXPLORE FRAMEWORKS OF INTERSPECIES RELATIONS DEVELOPED IN ENVIRONMENTAL HUMANITIES,CRITICAL ANIMAL STUDIES, AND OTHER THEORIES.WE WILL KEEP JOURNALS OF ANIMAL PRESENCES AND ABSENCES.OUR WRITING WILL ATTEMPT A VARIETY OF GENRES FIELD DESCRIPTIONS, CASE REPORTS, ODES, AND INSTRUCTIONAL TEXT.
