READING IN AND AROUND MOBY DICK (VLPA) MOBY DICK IS THE MOST CONFOUNDING AND AMBITIOUS OF NOVELS EVER WRITTEN, IN THAT IT RANGES ACROSS SO MANY DIFFERENT KINDS OF WRITING. WE WILL READ THE NOVEL SLOWLY, AND STUDENTS WILL BE ENCOURAGED TO EXPLORE THE BOOK IN WHATEVER MEANS SEEMS BEST.
