CHID 490: Research Seminar: Alternatively, students can satisfy the senior project requirement in one quarter by taking CHID 490. Each seminar takes up a broad theme around which the readings and research projects will be organized. This theme changes each quarter CHID 490 is offered.
CHID 491B: Independent Study: In lieu of taking the CHID 491 seminar, students can opt to complete 491 individually, under the supervision of a faculty advisor. In order to register for CHID 491B, students must discuss their plans with the CHID advisor, identify a faculty advisor by Week 9 of the previous quarter, and turn in a completed CHID 491B form to the CHID advisor to register. Students will typically continue with the same faculty advisor as they complete CHID 492/493.
