                          ENGAGEMENT WITH THE CLIMATE CRISIS
                          THROUGH AGRICULTURE AND POETRY.
                          READING WORKS OF LEAH PENNIMAN,
                          CAMILLE DUNGY, WENDELL BERRY AND
                          OTHERS, WE WILL EXPLORE THE
                          INTERSECTIONS BETWEEN THE
                          HUMANITIES AND SUSTAINABLE
                          PRACTICES, I.E., PERMACULTURE,
                          CRITICAL PLANT STUDIES, AND THE
                          INSPIRING ENERGY OF POETRY. BY
                          WORKING THE LAND, CONSIDERING THE
                          PLANTS THAT SUSTAIN US, AND
                          EXPERIMENTING WITH LANGUAGE, WE
                          WILL IMAGINE MODES OF BEING IN THE
                          WORLD THAT MAY HELP US NAVIGATE THE
