In this course, students will have the opportunity to explore how intersectional queer politics and ideology can be infused within their current academic locations. In addition, this course will assist students in using intersectional queer politics and ideology to constructively to process through their thinking process and operationalize their research, lived experience, as well as their social and career aspirations. This course will include transdisciplinary and translational approaches to analyzing, developing, and moving theory/philosophy into practice. In this course, contested histories will be discussed in hopes to build more comprehensive frameworks beyond the historical exclusion of colonized and coercively migrated communities. In this course, history across multiple disciplines will be used to deconstruct the weaponization of "valid sources” in research and in the body.
