Two CHID alums, Camille Elmore-Trummer (’09) and Jennifer Moore (’08), will be participating in a dialogue-style book event for Dr. Ralina Joseph’s new book, Postracial Resistance: Black Women, Media and the Uses of Strategic Ambiguity. Camille is an account manager at Brink Communications, a women-owned communications and marketing firm, and Jennifer is a multidisciplinary artist promoting "divine sounds, visions, and movements to manifest in the name of Love." They both worked with Dr. Joseph back in back in the spring of 2009.

If you would like to know more about the book, here is a recent KUOW story. The event is hosted by the Office of Minority Affairs & Diversity and the UW Alumni Association.

Congratulations Camille, Jennifer, and Dr. Joseph!
