Jazz History of Seattle

Exploring Seattle’s history through the lens of jazz music, dance, and culture. We will develop familiarity with the past, present, and future by engaging with stories of Seattle’s Black history, schools and students (including the UW), music, and more and how those stories influenced and were influenced by jazz as art, community, and communication.
