Speculative Design Exploration

An exploration of Speculative Design as a means for collaboratively exploring possible futures. Explorations will be guided by weekly readings and the group’s personal interests. Weekly meetings will consist of a one hour ‘discussion’ day, and a second, two hour ‘work’ day. ‘Discussion’ days will be a discussion of that weeks readings; while ‘work’ days will consist of applying the readings to collaboratively created speculative designs that aim to exaggerate and question current aspects of society.
