Faculty advisors play primarily a supporting role for students who would like to organize a focus group in CHID. They are expected to:
- Help the student design a reasonable syllabus for a 2-credit, CR/NC course, concentrating on reading load, assignments, and overall concept.
- Check in with the student over the course of the quarter to help troubleshoot any problems or concerns that may arise over the course of the quarter.
- Determine the final grades for the students enrolled in the focus group, in consultation with the facilitating student. These grades will be submitted to the CHID advisor.
