Biography
Francisco has focused for over ten years on the community response to HIV, youth, and social engagement. He has collaborated with organizations, research centers, and agencies at the local, national, and regional levels. He coordinated the Community Education and Involvement Unit at the Mexico City HIV Clinic and, later, the National Prevention Program at Aids Healthcare Foundation Mexico. He currently collaborates as a community advisor for clinical research on HIV at the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition "Salvador Zubirán" and the National Cancer Institute. He has participated in training, facilitation, and research programs with the University of Washington, UNFPA, UNAIDS, the Cabinet Office of Japan, the European Youth Centres, and the International AIDS Society.
