Dr. Ileana Marin and Dr. Otilia Baraboi have been awarded the Order of Merit in Education at the rank of Cavalier by the government of Romania. President Klaus Iohannis gave the award for Marin and Baraboi's contributions to the promotion of Romanian language and culture, including their co-taught course, "Romania Transformed." Dr. Marin is also the Director of the CHID Romania, Moldova, and Ukraine study abroad program, which ran in Early Fall 2019. Congratulations, Ileana and Otilia!
