Queer 101

Queer 101 is a discussion group centering issues of LGBTQ with an intentionally intersectional lens. Each week we discuss a different social issue with academic and intra-community readings to grow our understanding and cultivate compassion for the many different peoples around us. The discussion often takes a personal route as the goal is to tailor discussions to all of our lived experiences as well as situate them into the modern context. Our goal is to grow in our understanding of queer issues as well as other social justice topics with a firm understanding on how to better ally ourselves to the people that we want to be allied with.
