Do you have $5 Million and a staff of four hundred developers, marketers, and managers? No? How about $0 and 2 hours a week? That is all it takes to make a game that expresses yourself in 2013. In this focus group, we are going to explore the art of game design when you are a broke college student with barely enough time to study, eat, and sleep. We will make non-digital and digital games that subvert the Hollywood traditions of game making and instead be about designing systems of expression and engagement. The Goal is to create an inspiring and creative space within a classroom where we can explore our loves and our fears through games.
