Co-operatives, Communes, and Intentional Communities: An Exploration of Alternative Economies in Seattle

This focus group will explore alternate economies as they exist within Seattle, including, but not limited to, co-operatives, communes, and intentional communities. We will look into the past, present, and future of many different types of co-operatives that exist in our backyards such as food co-operatives, childcare co-operatives, medical co-operatives, marijuana co-operatives, and many more! This focus group will study how these places exist as areas of hope and change within neoliberal borders.
