SEATTLE, WA – Inspired by his Ancient Corean culture and our increasingly globalized world, Che Sehyun shares his original songs, ancient stories and captivating visuals for a night of hilarity, tragedy and intrigue. Recognizing his gifts, purpose and our inter-connectedness, Che works through #SongVersations, hip-hop, piano, ukulele, photography and video to entertain, explore and inspire.
When asked about why he wanted to produce this show, Che responded, “A new world is coming and the old ways are dying—it is up to us who are alive to decide what should go and what is worth keeping! Back to the Culture is a creative and entertaining expression to inspire others to think about their journeys, value the gift of life, and re-imagine their role in shaping our collective future.”
When asked, AJ Epstein, Artistic Director of West of Lenin said of the project, “Sehyun is that rare artist, who is able to grab any medium and make works of great delight. His art is also exceptionally vital because of his commitment to community building from within the work. I am incredibly excited to be able to have him on our stage.
