"My main focus while studying in the CHID department was on the role that the arts can play in bridging socioeconomic, cultural, and religious differences. After graduation, I decided to continue my explorations through my love and passion of writing and performing music, and I have spent the last 10 years entertaining audiences throughout the United States and Europe. I have come to see live performance as an opportunity to seek the present moment, and to draw audiences into a state of mindfulness. And in those moments that exist somewhere on the fringe of consciousness, it is my hope that the music might begin to dissolve the boundaries that exist between us and illuminate those bonds that speak to our common humanity." -Ian McFeron
